I have noticed a shift in collaboration, where both teachers in the classroom actively look to include the other teacher when planning.  Cherry was great to work with last year. I really appreciated her visits. She was knowledgeable, kind, patient, and supportive. Everything you could ask for in a coach. She always made me feel comfortable asking questions and offered practical advice without ever being pushy.

Since participating in the Hello Inclusion coaching, I have made meaningful shifts in my practice to better support autistic students in my classroom...The Hello Inclusion coaching has had a positive impact on both my professional practice and my students’ success. I am grateful for their knowledge, dedication, and unwavering support throughout the coaching process.

Since participating in the Hello Inclusion PDs and coaching sessions, I have noticed several positive shifts in my co-teachers' practices. Teachers are utilizing a wider variety of ICT co-teaching models, moving beyond the traditional one-teach, one-support approach and incorporating models such as station teaching, parallel teaching, and team teaching to increase student engagement and access to instruction. There has also been a greater emphasis on intentional planning for diverse learners, including the use of scaffolds, differentiated materials, and multiple entry points to learning. Co-teachers are collaborating more effectively, sharing instructional responsibilities, and being more purposeful in implementing accommodations and supports. Overall, classrooms have become more inclusive, with stronger collaboration and increased opportunities for all students to actively participate in the learning process.

During small group instruction, student engagement increased. Students who were leas likely to participate during whole class discussion were eager to collaborate and share their reasoning. ELL students were demonstrating skills as they approached mastery. SWD were using the strategies (think-pair-share, lift a line, step inside) to support them in analyzing a text that is student led while I provided scaffolded guided discussion questions.
